Motown Legacy Breaking Out-Novel

I stumbled upon this artist looking over Spin magazines’ digital copy of the March issue. Novel is the next generation of the hip hop artist. His father is Mickey Stevenson, a former Motown songwriter-producer and his grandfather is Solomon Burke, a soul legend. He’s diverse and has a strong musical background to support his creativity. I mean, the man rapped over the Ben Fold’s plaintive 2001 ballad “The Luckiest.” He also spent some time writing for artists such as Alicia Keys. “He sounds both street and schooled, spitting rhymes like ‘I’m the blade of the knife/ That slaughtered the lamb/ For greater sacrifice/ The son of Abraham.” (Spin Magazine)

Copyright crap won't let me embed his latest video. Click on the link below.
